Vote for Gladstone.

As a city councilor, my top priorities will be protecting our beautiful small town experience while carving out space for everyone to be able to share it. Here’s what that looks like:

  • Protecting our small town vibe while supporting its growth and innovation

  • Protecting our parks and public spaces

  • Working toward greater affordability for our residents and small businesses

  • Protecting our educators’ ability to offer a full and honest education for their students

  • Protecting all students from bullying, harassment, and gun violence

Bio

Growing up in a blue-collar, small business household in the Midwest, Kaleb learned the value of a hard day’s work at an early age. His personal circle of loved ones, mentors, and creative partners come from a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and sexual orientations and have helped shaped his story since early adulthood. As a progressive leader working in conservative religious spaces, Kaleb has spent the past several years bringing people together across ideological and cultural divides through media and the power of honest storytelling.

My approach

I believe that real change happens when we are able to understand ourselves and our opponents. Though it takes hard work and dedication, I believe hope is a winning strategy that ultimately brings communities together and allows them to flourish - and that we desperately need more of it in our current state of fear-based politics. I believe Gladstone can truly become a place that is safe for all people regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, belief, ability, or age, and I will work tirelessly toward a Gladstone that protects both its people and our planet.

Education & Leadership

Kaleb’s commitment to learning has been vital to his ability to lead in each new space. Often one of the youngest at the table, Kaleb blends active listening, strategic planning, and an unwavering commitment to integrity into the decision making process.

He believes that all good leadership begins by considering the needs and lives of those who hold the least power.
